I've been doing furry art since I was 15 and I had never heard of all this stuff about fur suits or yiff or whatever that everyone else seems to say it is.

Personally I think its just a term for a style of art (fursuits are in the category of art, and stories, and other stuff) but its whatever you are interested in to do with furries. Even if you don't draw.

I dunno O.o

I suggest wikipedia :) or clawcast.com or wikifur. I just like anthro characters and that it, there's a massive darkside to furry though :/
I mean the freaks that joined the fandom and turn it into a lifestyle.

I don't think the article is wrong, just its more than one thing. I mean you might just like Beatrix Potter's stories and you would still be part of the furry fandom.

I think furaffinity is a better one.

To me its just a style of art.

I think people can do what they want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. The whole lifestyle thing is a little weard for me though... I mean I don't know anyone else who draws furries in New Zealand... I'm so isolated.
